Donald Trump nominates former Utah governor Jon Huntsman as ambassador to Russia: Spells his name wrong
President Donald Trump on Tuesday nominated former Utah governor Jon Huntsman to be the next U.S. ambassador to Russia.
Huntsman, widely viewed as a Russia hawk, sought the Republican presidential nomination in 2012 and previously served as the U.S. ambassador to China under President Barack Obama. Trump has drawn criticism over his administration’s slow pace of ambassador nominations.
