The Queen's Speech at the State Opening is drafted by the Government and outlines its plans for the forthcoming session.
May's government has unveiled its 2017 Queen's Speech - despite still having no deal in place with the right-wing DUP.
The speech set out 27 laws the government hopes to pass over the next two years. But the speech was more noteworthy for what the Queen didn't say - as the Tories have been forced to drop their plans on fox hunting, fracking, the dementia tax and raids on free school lunches due to their wafer-thin majority in the House of Commons.
