Video: #QueensSpeech 2017: Queen says UK Government's priority is to secure "best possible deal" for #brexit
Today The Queen, accompanied by The Prince of Wales, opened Parliament for the 64th time during her reign.
The Queen's Speech at the State Opening is drafted by the Government and outlines its plans for the forthcoming session.
May's government has unveiled its 2017 Queen's Speech - despite still having no deal in place with the right-wing DUP.
The speech set out 27 laws the government hopes to pass over the next two years. But the speech was more noteworthy for what the Queen didn't say - as the Tories have been forced to drop their plans on fox hunting, fracking, the dementia tax and raids on free school lunches due to their wafer-thin majority in the House of Commons.
