#LondonFire: #GrenfellTower victims to be given flats in luxury £2bn block

A group of families rendered homeless by the Grenfell Tower fire will move into a luxury apartment complex nearby, the London Evening Standard reports.
Sixty-eight apartments in the building have been bought by the city to permanently house tower residents whose lives were devastated by the June 14 blaze. “Our priority is to get everyone who has lost their home permanently rehoused locally as soon as possible, so that they can begin to rebuild their lives,” said Communities Secretary Sajid Javid. Seventy-nine people were killed in the fire.
