Brazilian president, Michel Temer charged with accepting bribes

Brazil’s top federal prosecutor has charged Brazilian President Michel Temer with accepting bribes.
The charges, delivered to the country’s supreme court Monday, are expected to be the first in a series of graft charges against Temer. Brazil’s lower house of congress will vote on whether to try Temer on the charges. Temer’s party believes it has the votes to block a tribunal, The Guardian reports.
