The Speaker noted that marriage is a race which he advised them not to break the rules praying that the end of the union would be greater than the beginning.
Advising the couple, the former President of Nigeria, Chief Olugesun Obasanjo revealed that there would always be marriage frictions but he urged them to iron out any differences before the following morning through proper communication.
Expressing his joy, the bride's father and the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun thanked all for honouring and sharing in his family's happiness urging the couple to imbibe tolerance, trust and the fear of be as the foundation of their marriage.
Directing the cutting of the cake, the Acting President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo prayed for the couple to enjoy great favour, love and affection in their marital life.
Speaking with journalists, the groom's mother, Mrs. Abike Dabiri Erewa enjoined the couple not to allow third party in the running of their home while she prayed for God's guidance for the couple.
