Photos: Kanye West plans to commission statue of wifey, Kim Kardashian in sexy iconic Grace Jones pose

According to the Daily Star On Sunday, Kanye West is looking for a sculptor to create a life-size statue of her, revealing his plans in an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. 

The 37-year-old wants his wife to recreate Grace Jones' iconic pose on the cover of her 1985 album, Island Life. 

However, Kanye's ex-girlfriend Amber Rose also recreated the look when the pair were together, with the rapper posting the image to his blog KanyeWest.com at the time.  

In the risqué shot - an out-take from Rose's Complex magazine shoot last year - the part Italian, part Cape Verdean model recreates Jones's iconic 1978 pose.

Meanwhile, the Daily Star on Sunday reports that the Yeezus performer also wants to produce a 'couple's' piece of art, featuring him and the mother of his child, naked. 

'We'd like to have that hung on our bedroom wall,'

A source also told the paper: 'Kanye toyed with the idea of replicating Kim's recent nude shoot, but he thought that might be a little too personal to display to visitors.' 

Besotted Kanye has also been getting in the festive spirit and appeared to be Christmas shopping for Kim on Friday. 

He headed to the upscale Montaigne market in Paris - which just happens to specialise in luxury designer goods.

As he browsed the chic boutique, an assistant was seen showing the musician a plush Yves Salomon fox fur jacket with a price tag of around $7,000.
