Port Authority police say a member of the 27-year-old Don’t Tell ‘Em singer’s party tried opening the door on Friday in an attempt to get his tardy fellow travellers on board the Phoenix-bound flight.
The singer is slated to perform at White Dubai on December 27 and at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on February 13, the second day of music festival RedFest Dxb.
Jeremih, who police identified as Jeremy Felton, was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of administration of law. A second man faces the same charges while a third is charged with defiant trespass for allegedly opening the door.
A spokesman for Port Authority police says all three men were released without incident and ordered to appear before a judge.
An email to a representative at his label, Def Jam, was not immediately returned.
