News: Dr. Dre Reigns Supreme As Forbes' 2014 Highest Paid Musician

Doctors are known for making good money, aren't they?
Forbes released their annual World's Highest-Paid Musicians rankings today and this year's champ absolutely blew away the competition. Dr. Dre scored the top spot on the list, earning $620 million this year before taxes. The sale of Beats Electronics (a company co-founded by the music power player) to Apple for $3 billion helped give Dre's income some added bulk.

This year's gap between #1 and #2 on the earnings list is the widest in the financial mag's history. Coming in at the second spot in the highest-paid musicians rankings is Beyoncé with a haul of $115 million. It may look puny next to Dr. Dre's colossal total, but we're sure Queen Bey will somehow be able to afford groceries and cable for the next while.
The Eagles scored the #3 slot with $100 million earned, Bon Jovi notched the #4 position with $82 million pulled in and Bruce Springsteen rounded out the Top 5 with $81 million pulled in.
