Uber CEO, Travis Kalanick may take leave of absence
The board of directors for Uber is reportedly meeting on Sunday to discuss whether or not the company’s founder and CEO, Travis Kalanick, should take a leave of absence.
The board is also reportedly meeting to consider the recommendations made by former Attorney General Eric Holder after his monthlong investigation into the company’s culture after allegations of rampant sexual harassment were made public. One of Holder’s recommendations under consideration is that the company ask Emil Michael, the senior vice president of business who is said to be close with Kalanick, to leave.
