Photos: The UAE At 43.....I Did It My Way

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is comprised of seven Emirates, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras-Al-Khaimah (RAK), Sharjah, Fujairah, Ajman and Umm Al Qaiwain  which occupy the southeastern corner of the Arabian Peninsula. Each emirate, unique and rich in tradition, is an essential component necessary for making up the whole.
Doing it my way, I started with the malls in Dubai on the eve of the National Day and from the houses, cars and everything, you can tell how really patriotic these Emiratis are!

Yesterday, Tuesday December 02, 2014, the UAE celebrated their 43rd National Day and in the spirit of the union and in the abaya I had been looking forward to wearing, I decided to take a mini vacation away from #MyDubai to another Emirate, Ras-Al-Khaimah and it was indeed worth every second and every dime. 

With friends and fam, we all rolled in two different SUVs and got to this beautiful Island in RAK and basked in the sun, sand and sea.
The road trip was fun, seeing all the beautiful mountains, gold-looking-desert sand and families having picnics on the desert in a superb weather.
The dinner, breakfast and customer care service in this resort were spot on.
I also had so much fun doing some water sports and taking loads of photographs!
Once again, a very happy National Day we at TBW wish the United Arab Emirates (UAE)!!- Sheikha T. xx
