News: Selena Gomez & Dubai businessman are ‘not an item’, they just 'bonded' professionally in the UAE

Harith Bukhash, 29, hit the headlines after showbiz reports claimed he and Gomez, 22, have become close and “bonded” during her stay in the UAE.

Bukhash’s firm has been involved in the planning of her luxury trip, during which she has been accompanied by Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Cody Simpson and Shay Mitchell.
Emirati talent agency owner Bukhash spent New Year’s Eve with Gomez on a yacht and published images on his Instagram account of him with Selena Gomez and her friends.
But his brother and business partner Moadh Bukhash told 7DAYS that rumours of a romance between the pair are wide of the mark.
He said in an email that the “relationship with them is strictly professional and sharing such information would violate confidentiality agreements, which I’m sure you understand.”
Earlier this week, Bukhash posted: “Amazing fireworks on New Year’s Eve. Had a lot of fun showing @SelenaGomez and her friends around Dubai.”
The comments and frequent pictures of the pair had sparked rumours about a potential relationship.
Bang Showbiz quoted a source saying: “She is having the best time of her life in Dubai. She really bonded with Harith. He has helped show Selena how she really deserves to be treated, like a princess.
“Plus, he makes her laugh and that’s all they have been doing while in Dubai, laughing and having fun!”
Gomez has posted several pictures of herself in the desert and swimming at Jumeirah Beach.
However, she deleted a picture from her Instagram page in which she is seen lifting her abaya during her visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, sparking anger from some social media users.
