News: Snow in the UAE

It was thunderstorms and cold winds that welcomed UAE residents these past three days, with the wet weather expected to continue over the next two days, covering the northern and eastern parts of the country.
A rare possibility of snow is also being predicted by the UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology, with temperatures dropping as low as 10 degree Celsius in UAE-Oman mountain range.
“The dipping temperature in the upper atmosphere could also bring snow to those parts, mainly up in the mountains,” A spokesperson from NCMS said. “However, the mercury is unlikely to drop below 10 degrees Celisus.”
Should we be expecting a white christmas?
