The couple (David and Victoria) just splashed out £40 million (Dh238 million) on a palatial London mansion.
The 38-year-old former England football captain and the singer-turned-fashion designer are now said to be spending an extra £5 million renovating the four-storey period home!
The property will include rooms for hairdressing, manicures, make-up and Mrs
Beckham’s shoe collection — as well as a hidden tunnel leading to a second
property.
Their children Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, eight and daughter Harper, two,
will take over an entire floor of bedrooms — all with en-suite bathrooms with
waterproof plasma televisions.
And the lower ground floor will include a study, a gym and a massage room, as
well as an underground garage for David’s cars.
The pair reportedly sold their former home, known as Beckingham Palace, for £12 million. The Beckhams bought the 12-acre estate for £2.5 million just three months after their wedding in 1999.
Beckham is currently Britain’s wealthiest sports star with a fortune of £165 million. Together, the couple generated £35.1 million in 2012 — almost £100,000-a-day — with the former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer now earning almost as much as her husband.
