A 'March of the Flag' ceremony will be launched on Wednesday with the participation of the UAE's Crown Princes to mark the occasion of the UAE's 42nd National Day.
All seven Crown Princes will carry the flag through the seven emirates, starting in Fujairah and will be carried by every Crown Prince from one emirate to the other in a seven day journey culminating in Abu Dhabi.
HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai will hand the flag over to HH General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Sheikh Mohamed will hoist the UAE flag at the water breaker Area in Abu Dhabi on Monday 2nd December.
The seven Sheikhs and Crown Princes of the Emirates will attend the event.
Iman Al Mansouri, organiser of the event, said the procession will move from one emirate to another, while a group of sailing boats will sail in the Arabian Gulf carrying the UAE flag.
