The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical CHICAGO is coming to Dubai, with a series of twenty performances between the 19th of December, 2013, to the 3rd of January, 2014, at Sheikh Rashid Hall, Dubai World Trade Centre. CHICAGO’s first production opened in 1975, and ran for nearly a thousand performances till 1977. It opened on London’s West End in 1979, and remains Broadway’s largest performed musical, with more than 6700 performances played so far. It has even spawned an Academy Award-winning screen adaptation in 2002, with prominent actors Renée Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Richard Gere, and Queen Latifah taking lead roles.
CHICAGO is a musical with a lot of spunk, pizzazz, and everything in between.
