Photos: Senator Ted Cruz’s porn tweet ‘like’ inspires line of T-shirts for sale

Less than 24 hours after Sen. Ted Cruz’s official Twitter account liked a porn video and temporarily broke the Internet, a line of T-shirts and sweatshirts went up for sale to memorialize the mishap.

Sexuall Posts, the Twitter account whose tweet became famous as a result of Cruz’s Monday night fiasco, is selling nearly a dozen T-shirts for an average price of $22, promoting the merchandise as a “great gift for friends, family, Christmas, any occasion, tbh.” One of the T-shirts features a hand raised in a fist, accompanied by the caption “Ted’s right-hand man.” Another features only Cruz’s eyes sheepishly peeking out over the slogan “MasturbaTED.” The items went up for sale shortly after Cruz explained that the porn clip featured among his Twitter “likes” was caused by a “staffing issue.”“There are a number of people on the team that have access to the account and it appears that someone inadvertently hit the like button,” Cruz said Tuesday.
