The man behind Kim Kardashian's Paris-robbery apologizes to her in a letter

The person who cops believe masterminded Kim Kardashian’s Paris robber sent wrote an apology letter — but Kim isn’t having it.
The alleged mastermind behind Kim Kardashian's traumatic Paris robbery has written the reality star an apology letter.
According to TMZ, the letter reads in part:
“After observing your emotion and realizing the psychological damages I inflicted... I decided to write to you, not to obtain from you some sort of indulgence. I want to come to you as a human being to tell you how much I regret my gesture, how much I have been moved and touched to see you in tears. Know that I fully sympathize with the pain you are enduring, your children, your husband, and your close ones. I hope that this letter will allow you to forget little by little the trauma that you suffered by my fault.”
Aomar Ait Khedache, who Parisian police claim was the leader behind the Oct. 2016 robbery, wrote the letter in French and Kim’s legal team in France translated it. Khedache has reportedly seen the clips of Kim opening up on her E! reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians about how she felt during the robbery. According to police reports, she was tied up and left in her hotel room’s bathtub while men raided her hotel room. Kim says she feared for her life.
Although Khedache’s words might sound genuine, TMZ sources claim that Kim “found his words hollow.” She is apparently seeing through the letter as simply a stunt to “appear remorseful” to the judge before the trial. Sources also claim the letter was actually sent directly to the judge, who then gave it to Kim’s lawyers, which certainly seems like a shady way to tell someone you are sorry.
Khedache has spoken out in the past about the robbery. He and his associates reportedly melted the jewelry they stole from Kim so they could sell it. Since the robbery, over a dozen people have been arrested in connection with the crime.
While on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in April, Kim said she believes the incident was “meant to happen” to her because it has changed her life and made her less materialistic.
