Photos: Donald Glover & Lena Waithe make #Emmy history

Donald Glover, creator and star of Atlanta, won the award for Best Directing for a Comedy Series at Emmys on Sunday night.
The win makes him the first Black person to receive an award in that category.
Donald made his directorial debut on the sixth episode of Atlanta and also directed the seventh episode.
Lena Waithe has made Emmy history as she became the first African-American woman to win an award for comedy writing.
Waithe won for co-writing the “Thanksgiving” episode of “Master of None” with series co-creator and star, Aziz Ansari. Waithe has also had a recurring role on the Netflix comedy.
The widely acclaimed episode was based on her experience of coming out as a lesbian.
Congratulations to them and all the Emmy winners!
