Videos: Nigeria Immigration Service Employment Stampede Of Yesterday

Y'all have seen photographs of the massive crowds, read people's experiences, now it's time to watch the stampede that occurred yesterday Sat.March.15 at the Nigeria Immigration Service Employment tests held across the country. A total of 19 people were reported to have died as a result of the stampede and this was what the Interior Minister, Abba Moro had to say:

“The applicants lost their lives due to impatience; they did not follow the laid down procedures spelt out to them before the exercise. Many of them jumped through the fences of affected centres and did not conduct themselves in an orderly manner to make the exercise a smooth one. This caused stampede and made the environment unsecured.”

Really very pathetic! Coming from a great nation , a rich nation, a nation blessed with human and natural resources!!
