Jennifer Hudson and Weight Watchers have split - the one-time American idol contestant has ended her stint with the company to concentrate on her music career.
The 'Spotlight' singer has shed 80 pounds since she joined the popular-weight-loss program in 2010, but has now decided to step down as their spokeswoman.
In a statement Jennifer said: "My experience with Weight Watchers has truly been life changing. I am grateful for what I have learned throughout the process and will always take it with me."
The 32-year-old singer, claims she made has made the decision to step away from the campaign in a bid to focus on her singing career but suggested she has more projects in the pipeline.
She explained: "I have chosen to step away from my role as ambassador and I am excited for the year to come, with many new projects and lots of new music."
Meanwhile, fellow singer Jessica Simpson continues her stint as a spokesperson for the brand.

Jessica - who has two children, Maxwell Drew Johnson and Ace Knute Johnson, with her husband, Eric Johnson - has lost 70 pounds since she began her weight-loss journey with the program in 2012.
It seems the singer is happy with her slim figure, as she took to Instagram recently to share her delight after fitting in a tight white dress.
She wrote: "First time rocking a white dress this year ...but not the last!!Thanks @weightwatchers (sic)."
