Usher denies hooking up with Quantasia Sharpton

Usher has remained silent about his ongoing herpes scandal, but the R&B star is now responding privately to at least one of his accusers.

Insiders say that Usher has denied allegations made by Quantasia Sharpton, a woman who claims she had a sexual encounter with the pop star, according to TMZ. She is one of four people currently suing him for exposure to herpes.
Sharpton came forward on Monday (Aug. 7), saying that Usher plucked her out of an audience on her 19th birthday and that they later engaged in a sexual act. But Usher says Sharpton is simply not his type and that he never had sex with her, according to his inner circle.
Usher does not deny bringing Sharpton up onstage, though he also does not remember if he ever did. According to sources, the R&B star regularly brings “a diverse group of people up onstage, not just supermodels” as an “esteem booster.”

According to TMZ:

Sources close to the singer tell TMZ … he says there was never a hotel hookup with Quantasia Sharpton, telling friends, in November 2014 he was on the verge of getting engaged to Grace Miguel.

Usher tells them at the time of his alleged encounter, Grace was his manager and they spent ALL their free time together.

His people say when the two weren’t enjoying free time, it was all business, and they were inseparable. The couple got engaged less than 2 months after the alleged Days Inn tryst.

Usher’s people also say on the night in question his show ran late, which pushed the meet-and-greet well after midnight … and that flies in the face with Quantasia’s timeline in which she claims she hooked up with the singer around 12. 

We’re told his travel schedule was super tight too … making it even more unlikely he even had time to step out for a secret trip to the Days Inn.
