Transgender couple who met in hospital while awaiting surgery get death threats after news of their wedding plans went viral - but they insist bullies won't stop them marrying.
Born a girl and now a man, Aarav Appukuttan, 46, (right) and Sukanyeah Krishna 22, (left) who was born a man but is now a woman are going ahead with their wedding in India despite death threats 
Love-struck Aarav Appukuttan, 46, and Sukanyeah Krishnan, 22, from Southern India met while in hospital awaiting gender reassignment surgery.
Aarav was born a male named Bindu but is now a woman and Sukanyeah was born a female called Chandu but is now a man.
Last week news of their planned wedding next month began circulating in their native India and went viral on social media.
They have since been bombarded with threatening messages, many from bogus Facebook accounts.
Krishnan also received a threatening phone call which said, 'Whatever you are doing is wrong. If you give an interview on TV or to any other media, we will see to it'.
They have reported the issue to police and vowed to push ahead with their nuptials.

Sukanyeah said that she's not worried about the 24 year age gap between herself and her future husband and said Arav has supported her through all her ups and downs
