News: Princes William & Harry Pen A Tribute To Their Late Mum, Princess Diana

Iya ni wura...mothers are everything!!!
Princes William and Harry don't make many public comments about their late mother, Princess Diana. But in this instance, the occasion seems perfectly fitting.
In the foreword to a new book commemorating the 15th anniversary of the Diana Award -- the singular charity set up in her name -- the young princes reflected on her lifetime of humanitarian work.

“We believe, when encouraged and supported, that young people have the ability to change society for the better,” William and Harry wrote. "We know that our mother, in whose memory this award was established, felt the same and would be proud of its achievements to date."
They added, “In recent years, we have both had the privilege of meeting some truly inspiring young people and those involved with the Diana Award are no exception -- working to quietly transform their communities and the lives of those around them. These young people were working hard to tackle the social issues that affected them -- such as bullying or social exclusion -- and the Diana Award empowered them to do more."
The Diana Award was set up shortly after the Princess' death with the goal of empowering young people to make a difference in their communities.
