Sheikh Mohammed participated in the first loop of the race, which was his debut participation in European endurance races.
WAM said his participation would encourage UAE riders in preparation for the FIA World Endurance Championship in August.
HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and HH Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain’s Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS), shared the top title, finishing the 120km race in 4:52.30.
WAM added that on the sidelines of the race, Sheikh Mohammed talked with Queen Elizabeth about horse racing and festivals in the UAE and Britain, highlighting their significant role in promoting the equestrian sports locally and internationally.
