News: Tina Turner did NOT suffer a stroke, see her most recent photo

Tina Turner’s spokesperson has denied several reports claiming that the pop icon suffered a stroke.

The singer’s rep has strongly denied the rumours, saying, “The fact is that Tina enjoys excellent health,” and stated further that the news story was simply “not true.”

The rumour originated with German newspaper Express which reported that Turner’s close friend and driver confirmed the health scare to the news outlet. Albert B. Cologne was allegedly quoted as saying, “She had a mild stroke, but is well on the road to recovery,” also reportedly adding that “Tina had to cancel her holiday to recover, she has managed a smile for her partner Erwin Bach. The news report has since been removed from the newspaper’s website.

Rumours of the stroke picked up as more German and Dutch news outlets reported on the incident.

Turner was last spotted looking healthy and vibrant on Thursday for the launch of her latest album “Beyond, Love Within,” in Zurich, Switzerland.
