Kanye West's "Yeezus" tour is suffering from poor ticket sales, resulting in prices being slashed down to nothing in some cases, according to the New York Post.
The paper reported that freebies were handed out at the last minute for recent shows in New Jersey and New York. Several ticket brokers offered massively discounted tickets -- and even free ones -- for shows at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., last week and for Sunday's show at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island. This came after only half of the Prudential Center tickets were sold, while just a third of the tickets were sold for Sunday's Nassau show."He'd already been in the area four times," said one music insider. "Why would fans go out (again)?"
Because he's Yeezus?
In January, West announced nine additional East Coast dates after he already performed 30 dates across the country, including the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and Madison Square Garden.
The Post said a West rep declined comment on ticket sales, but said Sunday's performance was "one of the more energetic crowds I've seen on this tour and definitely a great performance from Kanye."
Of course. He's Yeezus. Whatever that means.
As he sang .. " 'm telling you ohh, it all falls down.. LOL.He needs to eat some humble pie !
