News: Revealed: Oscar De La Renta’s Funeral Details

Oscar de la Renta's funeral will be held in New York on November 3. The private mass for the fashion icon will take place at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola at Park Avenue and 84th Street. The 82-year-old designer died on Monday at his home surrounded by his family and "more than a few dogs."

Oscar made a real name for himself in the fashion world and Hollywood will be forever grateful to him, for putting the country's fashion on the global map. His designs were worn by everyone from royalty to celebrities, red carpets and "Sex And The City" movies will not be same without the master behind the label’s creations.

The designer’s stepdaughter Eliza Reed Bolen and her husband, Alex Bolen, released a handwritten tribute to Oscar de la Renta, saying, "He died exactly as he lived: with tremendous grace, great dignity and very much on his own terms."May his soul R.I.P.
