Eid al-Adha holiday announced for UAE private sector workers
The UAE has announced private sector holidays for Eid al-Adha, and it looks like next week could be a short one.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation said the break will last from Monday August 20 until Wednesday August 22.
It comes after Saudi Arabia sighted the Zul Hijjah moon on Saturday August 11.
Meanwhile, public sector workers will get a holiday from Sunday August 19 to Thursday August 23 following a declaration by the UAE cabinet.
