UPDATE: British electrician, Jamie Harron, 27, locked up in Dubai jail for 'public indecency'

British electrician, Jamie Harron, 27, on trial for public indecency and drinking alcohol has gained international attention for his ARREST in Rock Bottom, Dubai on July 15.

The 27-year-old man is on trial for a maximum penalty of three years imprisonment for an incident that happened in Rock Bottom, where he was arrested. The story has been widely reported internationally, with the man stating he 'touched a man on the hip to stop spilling a drink', however public prosecutors have announced an alternative story.
 According to The National, the man was in the crowded bar, and grabbed a 49-year-old German national on the buttocks, and gestured at him with his middle finger while walking through the bar. The German man said: “I asked him why he did so and he didn't answer me, instead flashing his middle finger at me. “I didn't say anything nor did I scream or insult him. I just called police.”
The verdict will be announced on October 22.
