Just as the crowd was enjoying their high octane performance at the Beat 99.9 Triple 9 concert in Lagos on Tuesday night, Peter Okoye of P-Square stepped too close to the edge of the elevated stage and unfortunately fell into the barricades. We are glad to report that Peter recovered quickly and continued the performance.
He had this to say to fans via Instagram –
"What defines us is how well we rise after falling… I’m human,I’m not perfect. But I’m thankful. I knw I will be fine b4 my next concert dis weekend in Congo Lubumbashi,Dubai …… Thanks peeps"

On the same night of Tuesday September 30, 2014, the award winning soul singer, Waje was one of the star performers at Beat 99.9 FM’s 999 Concert to celebrate their 5th anniversary, which went down at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The singer showed up at the event looking cool in a mix print jumpsuit which she teamed with yellow pumps and fire red hair! But her hair didn't stay on that long. As she thrilled her fans with some of her hits, the ‘Onye’ crooner’s wig did a back flip and fell off while she was deep into her performance. She even posted a picture of what happened on social media and laughed over it.
This Beat concert shoulda been called the Fall concert as we had one person and a wig falling!!!
