PRESS STATEMENT

SEIZURE OF $15MILLION BELONGING TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA BY THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA

Once again our government has embarrassed the distinguished people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by this act of ridicule in wanting to purchase arms in South Africa.
After the first blunder of carrying $9.3Million cash transported with the private Jet of Pastor Ayo Oristhejafor (The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria); The Federal Government of Nigeria has committed a faux pas by making the same mistake carrying cash by the same method, this time of a lesser amount of $5.7Million cash.

I am totally bemused by the fact that maybe the Nigerian Government does not understand that the first act was an offence, and still went ahead to commit another one.
This brings me to the question can we in Nigeria, with the vast amount of expertise and power generated by generators not manufacture arms?
By this act of alleged procurement of arms in South-Africa we have not only opened up the country to external attacks, we have increased the level of insecurity.

Apart from the aspect of ridicule which has been apportioned to us as a Nation, Our foreign or international relations has dwindled to an embarrassing level.
We need to ask the President Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the Chief of Defence Staff Marshall Alex Badeh to disclose to the Nation what the hundreds of Billions of Naira allocated and given to the Ministry of Defence was spent on?

In the history of Nigeria, this is the largest Defence budget we have ever expended and this period is one that has recorded the largest amount of deaths of Nigerians.
This now brings me to the question: What is the Federal Government’s Policy in regards to the Ministry of Defence and the Security of every Nigerian citizen during this period of sudden TERRORISM?
For now, the 2015 elections are the most paramount priority consideration of the President and other Nigerians seeking office from the position of Councilor all the way up to the Governors and Senators at the expense of guaranteeing our safety and security in this country.
The Political situation of our Country as of today the 8th of October, 2014 is in dire straits.
What is paramount in the mind of the Federal Government and the ruling party PDP is how to entrench Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in power.

This is a project which some have embarked upon as a do or die affair that regardless of whether there is electrical power or not, the country is safe or not, the educational system is dwindling or not and other very critical problems which are apparent, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan must be voted in.
I as a citizen of this great country Nigeria born and bred within the confines of my Nation reject Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as a candidate for Presidency because I consider him as A COMPLETE FAILURE AND THE MOST INCOMPETENT OCCUPANT OF THE SEAT OF HEAD OF STATE IN THE HISTORY OF OUR GREAT NATION NIGERIA.
I PRAY TO ALMIGHTY GOD IN MY LITTLE ROOM THAT NO MATTER HOW MUCH HE SPENDS OR WASTES ON THIS ELECTION, DR. GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN SHOULD LOSE WOEFULLY AND NEVER BE ELECTED TO THE SEAT OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA FOR THE DAMAGE HE HAS DONE TO OUR NATION FOR EVER.

May God Almighty protect we the remaining Nigerians who are not dead and have the opportunity of seeing 2015 and decades beyond.
So help me God.
Signed
MOHAMMED FAWEHINMI ESQ
