PHOTOS from Swizz Beatz star studded 'Coming to America'-themed birthday groove

Alicia Keys certainly knows how to throw a party - just ask her husband, Swizz Beatz.
On Thursday night, the singer fΓͺted her leading man like a king as they celebrated his upcoming
36th birthday with an over-the-top bash in the theme of the classic 1988 Eddie Murphy film, Coming To America.
Taking place at Capitale in New York, the venue was decorated with palm fronds and regal gold and red velvet thrones for the birthday boy and his family, while a dance troupe was brought in to perform a traditional dance to the beat of African drummers.
'My party was Epic thx to all my fam & Friends for a timeless moment I'm still in shock...' the hip-hop recording artist - real name Kasseem Dean - gushed on social media the following morning as he shared a number of photos and videos from the evening's festivities.
He also gave a shout-out to his wife of four years for making the night so special and fun.
'My wife is awesome thx my love for the best Bday party everrrrrrrrrerr #comingtoamerica...' he wrote.
While his birthday isn't officially until today, Saturday September 13, the star got the celebrations off to a roaring start nice and early, with a number of famous friends joining the happy couple for the shindig.
And though she's approximately six months pregnant, Alicia certainly didn't let the side down as she partied up a storm, looking stunning in a gorgeous, ethereal white gown.
The 33-year-old made quite the entrance into the bash, the dancers clearing a path down the centre of the dance floor, strew with petals, for her to walk down to greet her king.
Bumping along nicely: The pregnant star - who is expecting her second child with her husband in December - looked stunning in her floaty, ethereal white gown, which accentuated her blossoming baby bump and featured a textured square neckline
Proud as punch: Lala was thrilled to celebrate her long-time friend's birthday, sharing this photo with the message, 'What a night!!! Celebrating @therealswizzz bday! I went to Highschool with this guy, that's how far we go back!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWIZZY!!!'

Easy does it: The Grammy-winning singer sensibly wore black flat sandals as she carefully maneuvered into the car, careful not to knock her head in the process, her long raven tresses worn in tight braided cornrows with silver beads at the ends
Representing: Lala Anthony looked lovely in her black gown as she arrived at the party solo, sans New York Knicks basketball player husband Camelo Anthony, but she met up with the dapper blue-suited stud inside
Star-studded: Puff Daddy and Naomi Campbell were among the revellers, the pair seen leaving the party together in the early hours of Friday morning
Amicable: Swizz's ex-wife and mother of one of his children, Mashonda Tifrere, also attended the celebration, seen walking arm-in-arm with a handsome mystery man with a huge smile on her face following the festivities
A family affair: The birthday boy's mom, Kim, and brother, Andre, got suitably dressed up for the soiree, wearing matching black outfits as they celebrated during the over-the-top bash
