Vanessa Williams is getting ready to walk down the aisle!
The 51-year-old actress announced her engagement on Friday's The Queen Latifah Show after Queen cracked a joke that Vanessa's ring was blinding her.
"Oh sorry, darling," Vanessa said, "I got engaged. I have had a lot of good things happen ... I turned 50 when we were in rehearsal on Broadway, I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago. It has been a lot of blessings."
The lucky groom-to-be, Jim Skrip, is a Buffalo, New York native and has reportedly been dating Vanessa for more than a year.
This will mark the third marriage for Vanessa, who split from movie producer Ramon Hervey in 1997 and former NBA star Rick Fox in 2004. Vanessa has four children between her two exes: Melanie, 27, Jillian, 25, and Devin, 21, with Ramon, and 14-year-old Sasha with Rick.
