The extended timings fall under the seventh edition of ‘Eid in Dubai - Eid Al Adha' celebrations which kick off on September 25 up until October 11.
On weekdays, Deira City Centre, Mirdiff City Centre, Mall of Emirates and Dubai Festival City will all be open from 10:00 am to 1:00 am for retail shops, and 10:00 am to 2:00 am for cafés and restaurants, while on weekends retailers will be open until 2:00 am and restaurants until 3:00 am.Mercato Mall will extend its shopping hours only from October 2 to October 11.
EID EVENTS
The emirate is already gearing up for the celebrations with a host of events planned across malls and at other venues. Here are some of the highlights:
Eid Fireworks
2 – 11 October, 9:00pm
Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim 1, Kite Beach
Residents and visitors of Dubai can look forward to enjoying non-stop spectacular fireworks at 9:00pm daily from 2 October to 11 October.
Shop and Win Promotion

Participating Malls
Visitors at select malls will have the opportunity to win prizes up to AED 500,000. Upon a minimum purchase of AED 200, shoppers will get a chance to “Scratch & Win” shopping vouchers up to AED 1000.
Sesame Street Live - Elmo Makes Music
29 September – 4 October, Weekdays: 11am & 6pm, Weekends: 10am, 2pm & 6pm
Madinat Jumeirah Theatre
Sesame Street is making its way to Dubai this Eid Al Adha to perform live on stage at Madinat Jumeirah Theatre. Single tickets are priced at AED 249.
Dubai In A Different Light – Photography Exhibition
