Britain's richest people are wealthier than ever before with a combined fortune of more than £518 BILLION, according to this year's Sunday Times Rich List which was published yesterday, Sunday May 18 2014.
The 1,000 richest Britons have seen their combined wealth rise more than 15% on last year's total of £449.654 billion.
They now own the equivalent of a third of the nation's GDP.
