Photo: A-Day-Old Baby Girl Found Dead At Ikorodu Roundabout Lagos

A day old baby girl, whose picture you will see after the cut, was abandoned yesterday at a road construction site- Ikorodu roundabout, Lagos Nigeria.
According to eye witnesses, the baby, with placenta and fresh blood, whose body was wrapped in  a lace material, may have been delivered by an unknown woman during the early hours of the day, and dumped by the road side.
Passers-by who gathered  to catch a glimpse of the lifeless body of the baby gave diverse accounts of the
incidence.
While some said the baby was discovered alive but died before help could come, others maintained that the baby was already dead by the time it was discovered at day break.
