News: Kanye's Nike's Air Yeezy 2 Red October Sneakers Selling For $16.3 Million (£12 MILLION) On eBay

Kanye West must really be a god, huh? Someone is willing to commit to plunking down £10 million, or $16.4 million, for a pair of shoes upon which the Yeezus rapper cast his magical branding spell. Nike released the shoes, the red Air Yeezy 2 sneakers known as the "Red Octobers," on February 9. There was no advance notice. The shoes sold out right away. And now a U.K. eBay auction has the current bid described above. Another pair is available at the totally fair "Buy It Now" price of $10,000, as Pitchfork points out, so that 10-million-quid person is clearly very smart and good-looking and should send a check our way, please. This all comes a couple of months after West's highly publicized jump from Nike to Adidas — a jump made higher on account of his handsome kicks, no doubt.
