Manchester United fan undergoes surgery in his lungs in Paris after being stabbed by Taxi driver

On Wednesday night, a Manchester United fan was reportedly stabbed in the chest by a taxi driver in Paris.

The 44-year-old man is said to be undergoing emergency surgery after the attack following the team's 3-1 win over PSG in the Champions League match, reports Sky Sports News.
A source said that the man, along with three other passengers, were singing loudly in celebration when the taxi driver suddenly pulled over. He took out a knife and went towards a female passenger before the 44-year-old supporter stepped in and was knifed with a 'large blade'.
The fan was taken to Hopital Europeen Georges-Pompidou for surgery on his lung after being left fighting for his life following the attack. French police arrested a suspect at lunchtime today but did not find a weapon, Sky Sports News reports.
