Photos: French President Emmanuel Macron confers Mike Adenuga the highest French National honour in Lagos

The French President Emmanuel Macron yesterday described Globacom Chairman, Dr Mike Adenuga Jr as a true role model for African entrepreneurs.

The President poured encomiums on the Spirit of Africa while conferring on the Guru the highest French National honour of Commandeur Ordre National de la Legion d’honneur ( Commander of the National Order of the Legion of Honour) at the new Alliance Francaise Mike Adenuga Centre on Osborne Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Macron described Adenuga as one of the best friends of France and gave detailed accounts of the latter’s stupendous and mutually beneficial investments in France and saluted his tenacity and 'can do' spirit.
The President also had an ovation for the Adenugas, in particular his wife, Mrs Titi Adenuga and his daughter Bella, who kept many sleepless nights coordinating the special event.
President Macron thanked the Spirit of Africa for donating what is rated as the most magnificent edifice for the new Alliance Francaise Mike Adenuga Centre.
