Former president of Yemen, Ali Abdullah Saleh shot dead after gunmen blast his car with a grenade launcher
Former President Ali Abdullah Saleh has been killed in fighting with the Iran-aligned Houthi militia raging in the Yemeni capital Sanaa.
The 75-year-old was killed outside the capital Sanaa, along with the assistant secretary-general of his General People's Congress party (GPC), party officials confirmed.
