REVEALED: World's Best Airlines For 2018

Each year, Airline Ratings.com creates a respected list of the world's top airlines.

For the fifth year running, Air New Zealand took the top spot of the list which takes fleet age, passenger review ratings, profitability, investment rating, seating options, operational safety and more of both international and domestic airlines into account.

Etihad Airways took sixth position this year. 
Surprisingly, Emirates failed to make the top ten, however the Dubai based airline was chosen number one for best in-flight entertainment. 
Here are the top ten:

1. Air New Zealand
2. Qantas
3. Singapore Airlines
4. Virgin Australia
5. Virgin Atlantic
6. Etihad Airways
7. All Nippon Airways
8. Korean Air
9. Cathay Pacific
10. Japan Airlines

Emirates won the best in-flight entertainment category:

The awards are also sub-categorized and Emirates took home the coveted prize for best in-flight entertainment.
