The 27-year-old Scotland-born tennis star is engaged to longtime girlfriend Kim Sears, 26, BBC News reported on Wednesday, citing his agent. The British outlet said it is thought that Murray popped the question last Wednesday. They two have not commented.

Murray and Sears have been together for about nine years. They met at the U.S. Open in 2005, BBC News said. She has since attended many of his matches, including Wimbledon in 2013, when he was photographed giving her a kiss after beating Novak Djokovic in the Men's Singles Final.
