News: "I have said my mind and it’s that Ibinabo Fiberesima should be left alone"- Jide Kosoko

Nollywood veteran actor, Jide Kosoko has confirmed his support for the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ibinabo Fiberesima.

In a recent chat with a NET correspondent, Kosoko expressed his confidence in Fiberesima’s administration adding that she should be allowed to finish her term without distractions.

‘I have said my mind and it’s that Ibinabo should be left alone…She is not God as such there is no way she won’t make mistakes…’, he said.

Kosoko also said Yoruba actors are being marginalised, adding that there is a need for something to be put in place to ensure that all players in the industry benefit from the proceeds without any form of disparity.

‘We are the same, however, when you talk about marginalisation of the Yoruba sector in some aspects of government support, I will agree…if we are able to have a Motion Picture Council, every association will melt under that council‘.
