News: The Late Alhaji Arisekola Alao's Will Read

It became public knowledge when the will of late Ibadan billionaire businessman, Aare Abdul-Azees Arisekola-Alao was read yesterday afternoon (26th June 2014) at the Chief Registrar’s Office, Room 30 of the Oyo State High Court, Ring-Road, Ibadan.
The children, who were all seated in the lawyers’ hall by 2 p.m., were called one after the other and they all filed into the Chief registrar’s office according to their age, beginning from the eldest daughter, Fatimo Alao. Leading them were billionaire industrialist Oba Otudeko, who is the administrator of the will, 4 men and 2 ladies of the family.
Speaking before the commencement of the short meeting which preceded the calling of the children’s names, an official from the Chief Registrar’s office disclosed that the exercise was strictly private. By 3.25 p. m, the reading of the will ended and the children came out one after the other into the lawyer’s hall.
In a related development, Alhaji Idris Alao, one of the children of Alhaji AbdulAzeez Arisekola-Alao, has announced that a Foundation would be instituted to immortalise their late father. He disclosed this while receiving a delegation from the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi and Ogbomoso Special Committee on Islamic Affairs.
