According to report from Channels Tv, the accident was caused by a collision between a moving truck and a faulty truck, which was parked on the expressway.
Several other cars were damaged in the ghastly accident. One of the of the vehicles involved was a “mini-truck carrying labour hands to a building site, an eyewitness said.
A female survivor, who was pulled out from under a truck, was rushed to a hospital near 7UP, and then to the Gbagada General hospital for further treatment.
Casualty figures are yet to be ascertained.
There is heavy traffic on the road at the moment as all vehicles involved in the accident caused a complete blockage and motorists are trapped in a traffic jam on the road.
Security agencies including the FRSC, Nigeria Police, Army have stormed the area to sanitize the environment.
