Actress Monalisa Chinda pulled an Oprah with her self titled magazine which features Monalisa on the cover of every issue. The magazine which is being labelled as a luxury magazine sells for N5000, 5 times more than other women’s magazines in the Nigerian market like TW & Genevieve Magazine. Perhaps as a response to the exorbitant price or its relative newness on the scene, people just don’t seem to be taking to the Mona's magazine! Sales of the voluminous 336-page publication are reported to be dismal! According to NET an insider in Monalisa’s camp said, “vendors are not picking up the magazine, it’s too voluminous and way too expensive”, the source also went on to say, “Monalisa is finding publishing very different from acting, yet she seems very determined to make it work‘”.
Perhaps in a bid to amp up interest in her magazine, Monalisa has released some new pictures from the magazine which show the actress in a range of poses from super sexy to serene…
