News: Young Jeezy Arrested for Battery & “Terroristic Threats”…Against His Own Son

'R.I.P' performer Young Jeezy, temporarily bid adieu to his freedom after reports surfaced; the hitmaking rapper was arrested for battery, false imprisonment, and making terroristic threats.
The assailed?  Jeezy’s own son.

“…Jeezy got into a fight with his son in a bathroom and he threw his son into the glass shower door, causing the son to hit his head.  Then Jeezy allegedly punched him in the face, dragged him into the bedroom, threw him on the bed and pummeled him.
According to the incident report, Jeezy’s son attempted to escape but the rapper’s bodyguard blocked the stairwell.”

This incident occurred in Sept. 2012. Jeezy, 36, turned himself in to the police on Friday (Jan. 3) 2014 after a grand jury warrant was issued. The rapper was released on $45,000 bail.
Young Jeezy has a track record of run-ins with the law. In 2006, he was arrested for an alleged shootout involving friends in Miami’s South Beach and charged with two counts of carrying a concealed firearm without a permit, Billboard reported. Then in 2008, Jeezy was arrested for a DUI by Atlanta Police, just days after he was implicated in a major cocaine-dealing ring, MTV News reported.
