If you’re moving to the UAE for work anytime soon, there’s a new document you’ll need to bring with you.

Those wanting to work in the UAE will now need a Certificate of Good Conduct.

The coordination committee (which includes a number of senior government officials)has released a statement that a police verification certificate will become an essential pre-issued document for anyone who wishes to work in the UAE.
The rule will come into effect from February 4
The certificate must be issued by the person''s home country or their country of residence for the last five years.
According to the committee, making UAE one of the safest countries in the world is the government's main aim and this is just one of the actions that comes within the framework.
The certificate won’t be necessary for the dependents, tourists, and those coming on a visit visa.
