I'm sorry. I should've risen above. Deleting this from my devices for a good long time, maybe forever. Time will tell. Goodbye.
— Zelda Williams (@zeldawilliams) August 13, 2014

Before tweeting that she would be signing off of her social media accounts "maybe forever," she tweeted for her followers to report two users who, according to TMZ, shared a fake picture of Williams' dead body online.
"Please report @PimpStory @MrGoosebuster. I'm shaking. I can't. Please. Twitter requires a link and I won't open it. Don't either. Please," she wrote before deleting the tweet. Both accounts were suspended.
In a statement released yesterday, the 25-year-old noted she had been receiving negative comments but was not letting them get to her.
"To those he touched who are sending kind words, know that one of his favorite things in the world was to make you all laugh," she said. "As for those who are sending negativity, know that some small, giggling part of him is sending a flock of pigeons to your house to poop on your car. Right after you’ve had it washed. After all, he loved to laugh too."
Williams' family asked that his fans remember his as the kind-hearted man that he was.
He is survived by his wife and his three children: daughter Zelda, 25; and sons Zachary, 31, and Cody, 22.
