Melissa Rivers gave all of Joan Rivers' fans an update on her condition Friday, which she says "remains serious."
"My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world. Her condition remains serious but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible," Melissa, 46, said in a statement to ET. "We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery."

News: Joan Rivers Is 'Resting Comfortably,' Daughter Releases Statement
Joan Rivers' daughter, Melissa Rivers, has revealed that her mother is "resting comfortably" in the hospital after reportedly suffering cardiac and respiratory arrest on Thursday morning.
The comedian's daughter released a statement in response to the outpouring of support after news of the hospitalization was made public. "I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for my mother," the message reads. "She is resting comfortably and is with our family. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers."
After receiving news of her serious health scare, the younger Rivers boarded a plane from Los Angeles to New York to be by her mother's bedside.
Comedienne Joan Rivers was rushed to a New York hospital after she stopped breathing during throat surgery, WNBC reported Thursday.
Rivers was undergoing the procedure at Yorkville Endoscopy on East 93rd Street.
According to E!, the 81-year-old arrived at Mount Sinai Hospital. Her daughter, Melissa Rivers, and grandson, Cooper, are said to have taken a morning flight to New York to be with her.
E! News reported Thursday afternoon that Rivers was in stable but critical condition.
"This morning, Joan Rivers was taken to The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where she is being attended to," hospital rep Sid Dinsay said. "Her family wants to thank everybody for their outpouring of love and support. We will provide an update on her condition as it becomes available."
The health scare comes on the heels of a busy week for the Brooklyn-born funnywoman. Rivers covered the red-carpet looks at Sunday night's VMA ceremony and Monday's Primetime Emmys for a special episode of E!'s "Fashion Police." She also worked on her online talk show, "In Bed With Joan," and made an appearance on QVC.
